Preventive
Maintenance Programs
Focus - to provide an annual
maintenance plan for RV and Marine appliances and basic
systems. The Template for this set of programs is designed from the manufacturers'
requirements and recommendations for Routine Yearly Maintenance.
L.P. furnaces, L.P. water heaters, L.P.
Refrigerators, roof mounted air conditioners, roof
mounted heat pumps, basement mounted air conditioners, and basement mounted
pumps.

Basic systems; Basic L.P. Systems, Basic plumbing and water systems.
110VAC and DC System (Special Programs for Inverted and Heavy Solar Systems.
Marine Grade Battery and Charging and Inverting Systems.)

Basic 12 volt electric - Check condition of house batteries, connections and
terminals, fluid levels. Test and record voltage at; converter, battery terminals and
appliance - checking for voltage, voltage drop and AC ripple. Report.

Basic L.P. Gas System -
Conduct LP Drop Pressure test and record results
(according to industry and ANSI specs) Set flow at full demand, to 11" of W.C., and
record the results. Report.

L.P. Water Heaters - (assuming standard drain plug or anode) use flushing tool
to clean minerals from tank interior and flush, inspect and clean electrodes and
adjust, inspect gaskets and seals condition, inspect connectors and fittings, adjust
air shutter for proper flame characteristics. Inspect the anode, and Report.

L.P. Furnaces - using compressed air and vacuum, clean the interior cabinet of the furnace and its enclosure, using compressed air, clean the main squirrel cage and blow out the purge fan. Using special "long reach" air tools - clean the interior of the furnace from dust and debris. Visually inspect the interior of the "mounted" appliance. Inspect the mounting of the appliance in the coach, the duct work, and the access panels fro proper seals. Using compressed air, clean the fire box and exhaust ports, inspect the sidewall sealants. Cycle for operation. Report.

L.P. Refrigerators - Visually inspect venting and installation, check door seals for
condition and fit to door(s), check condition of thermocouple and burner assembly,
clean areas with compressed air. Check for proper mounting. Watch flame
characteristics for high/low flame. Report

Roof Air Conditioners and Heat Pumps -
Inspect and clean room filters, inspect
internal cooling fins for obstructions, remove external shrouding and clean external
cooling coils with compressed air. (Offer Delta T test for efficiency) Report.

Basement Air Conditioners and Heat Pumps - Inspect and clean room filters,
Inspect appliance mounting, inspect plenum seals and general condition. Report.
