Corrective Action Procedure

Replacement of Model 1200 Cooling Unit

Important

Models affected by this corrective action are 1200LR and 1200LRIM manufactured from December 1996 through March 1999 bearing cooling unit serial number 0700000 through 1008700. Before beginning any work, verify the refrigerator cooling unit serial number is affected by this product safety recall. The refrigerator cooling unit serial number may be  found on the numeric lable affixed to the solution chamber (see Figure 1).

Corrective Action Applicability

Corrective action is required for models with serial numbers as listed in the table provided below.
